This is the year of Living in Color and when it comes to fun containers to serve from or kitchen items to use for meal prep, color makes me love healthy home cooking even more.
Read all the way through to the bottom of this post to learn how you can win a colorful assortment of mealtime accessories!
For brands looking for giveaways that will be used daily and promote a message about healthy living, colorful food storage containers and other food-related items are a smart choice.
We see color in retail brands from Rachel Ray to Bobby Flay that sells like hotcakes because it’s available in a bright hues and designed with quality features. Similar items are available to companies looking for promotional products.
Why the emphasis on color?
Color is an appealing aspect of enjoying food and if we didn’t know it in our gut, cooking contest TV shows on the Food Network drive the message home with high points given to presentation and plating. For this non-chef-mom, if my food is served or prepared in something colorful and fun, it's more appealing, even if it's just plain ol' celery sticks. My family and friends seem to feel more cared for by the simple presentation of cute kitchenware and containers.
Companies looking to encourage their employees to embrace healthy eating habits would do well to consider food storage containers as associate gifts.
Home cooking is traditionally a healthier choice that also tends to be less expensive than going out for lunch. This is true whether we are making gourmet meals or simple dishes that save us from fatty alternatives. Home cooking allows us to monitor our portions and put away the leftovers, which make great meals the next day, carried to work in a colorful container.
The collapsible, silicon food storage containers I'm currently excited about would be great for brown bagging it, especially if the "brown bag" was really a bold, patterned neoprene lunch bag from the popular brand BUILT. Add in the Tritan Shaker Bottle I was mooning over a couple weeks ago, and you have the set-up to transport a lovely midday meal.
Healthy choices, fun colors, winning lifestyles - that's a great brand message for almost any company to embrace.
Follow the directions in the Rafflecopter below to win the lunchtime collection I just mentioned - two collapsible food storage containers, a striped BUILT lunch bag and a Tritan Shaker Bottle!
This contest is open to U.S. residents over age 18, excluding employees of Staples and its subsidiaries. For complete terms and conditions, see the Rafflecopter widget above.

I eat leftovers for lunch almost everyday as I normally cook a lot for dinner the night before. So, it's best not to waste food and also it's easier to eat leftover food for lunch as it's too inconvenient to cook lunch for one
